History
Mr. Gul Muhammad was a brilliant entrepreneur and industrialist. He setup gulsteel, Kamran commerical and a yard
in the heart of Lahore in 1977. The 8 tonne arc furnace in Kamran commerical produced high quality steel that was rolled in
Kamran commercial and gulsteel. The finished products were then sold from the yard.
However, the facilities could not keep up with the time and were sold off in the 1990s. This did not deter Mr. Masood gul,
the son of Mr. Gul Muhammad. He started trading and indenting business and was one of the first to introduce various
imported steel scrap items in Pakistan.
The trading business flourished. Mr. Masood Gul decided to sell Kamran commercial and start the business under a new name:
Greenstone Coporation. It started its life in 2009 as a partnership firm and now our import business is done entirely under
Greenstone Corporation. Our indenting business is usually carried out under the name of the foundry buying the steel scrap.
However, the same great team of Greenstone Corporation is behind the indenting business. The import and indenting business
represent two services of Greenstone.
The third service was introduced by Mr. Fahad Macud Gul two years ago. The son of Mr. Masood Gul, he added a third service
Greenstone provides to its customers. He runs a yard in the heart of the ironmarket of Lahore. This yard allows us to store our
customer's imports and optionally sell the import directly to buyers. Mr. Fahad's work has grown so large that it has
become a semi-independent entity.
The team in Greenstone is proud of its history and its ability to adapt with time. We pride on providing our customers
with a world class service from purchasing material through great buyers to getting it delivered to our customer's facility
or selling it in the open market.

We offer services to both sellers of scrap trying to sell to the Pakistani market and buyers of scrap in Pakistan.
To sellers of scrap, we offer an unbiased view of the Pakistani market and access to many big furnaces. As this is a
very competitive field, we provide information that will allow sellers to remain competitive within the market. We
communicate directly with the furnace, resolve all issues that may arise during import and give proper instructions on
completing all steps of the import that would leave everyone satisfied.
To the buyers of scrap in Pakistan, we offer access to many international sellers. We also buy scrap locally, so
buyers of scrap such as furnaces can allow us to buy scrap for them to meet their demands while they can focus on their
operations.
Connecting sellers and buyers of scrap is only the tip of the iceberg. Within each deal, there is a world of procedure:
To complete the sales, get the import documents ready, prepare payments, make sure bank sends payments, etc. All of these are
tactfully handled by our professional operations team.
